Otter 1.6.2 Has Been Released

We just shipped Otter 1.6.2. It's a maintenance release of Otter 1.6 which means that there is minimal risk to upgrading from an earlier 1.6. However, if you're planning to upgrade from a version prior to 1.6, make sure to read the appropriate upgrade notes.

To install or upgrade, simply download Otter and run the installer.

Here's what we changed between 1.6.1 and 1.6.2:

  • OT-162 - Local Agent should support the IRemoteProcessExecuter agent service
  • OT-161 - FIX: Race condition when checking configuration for a role with many servers that overlaps with other configuration checks related to same server
  • OT-160 - FIX: executions containing async blocks may report success even if they fail
