Using a Universal Package Manager like ProGet allows you to store all of your important software development assets in one place. With Support for Amazon S3 store, you're able to utilize cloud storage to host all your assets

Installing the Amazon extension, allows you to utilize Amazon s3 as your package store.

Configure Feed Package Store

Cloud storage may be configured on a feed-by-feed basis, giving you the flexibility to choose between different option for your packages.

Once Amazon S3 is slected, you need to specify and configure the change. Note that the default is a file system directory.

If your installation of ProGet can access inedo.com, simply navigate to Admin > Extensions, and install or update extensions from the gallery.

You can also manually install the extension.

  1. Copy the extension file (Amazon.progetx) to the Extension Library path (by default, this is %ProgramData%\ProGet\Extensions).
  2. Restart the ProGet Service (Admin > Service).
  3. Restart the ProGet Web Application (Admin > All Settings > Save).
  4. Verify that the new extension has been loaded (Admin > Extensions)
