On our system is .NET 4.6.1 installed and on this system we get the problem
on testsystems without 4.6.1 the installer don't crash.

you have a solution that we get it work with 4.6.1?

    Product: ProGet
    Version: 4.0.14

  • In this case, the error message means that the user runnin the installer does not have permission/access to read the configured ProGet database (this is an upgrade).
