Unlike Application filter, and application group filter, which shows the available options in the dropdown, Pipeline stage filter default to all stages, and there's no dropdown to show its available options.

How to use this filter to register only more "important" stages of a deployment?

After manually executing a couple of artifact-removing retention policies in Buildmaster 4.6.2, I wanted to view the associated Purge History, since available disk space on the hosted Buildmaster server didn't increase.

Clicking the 'View purge history' button in the Retention Policies section of Buildmaster 4.6.2 resulted in

This is sort of a follow-up to

http://inedo.com/support/questions/4365

I hade the same problem (network account did not have permission to database) and added both NT-AUTHORITY\SYSTEM and NT-AUTHORITY\NETWORK and then the error messages in SQLEXPRESS were gone.

But, I can still not acces the webpage under localhost:81

I am working on a normal Windows 7 Prof. workstation to evaluate the software. I used the integrated webserver during the installation and the installation did not throw any errors.

As with the other question, the service takes a very long time to start.

Where else can I look to debug this? Is there any logging I can look into?

Hi,

When adding a powershell script that has been defined as an application asset to the plan, they all return the error 'An unexpected error occured while posting to the server. Internal Server ErrorYou should try to save your work if possible'

I have been unable to find any indication of an issue in the logs. Can you please assist?

Thanks,

Clint

I tried IIS hosting but it didn't resolve my issue (the error now is "proget.yaharasoftware.com refused to connect"). How do I return to the native web host?

Good morning.

We've setup our ProGet server and are really happy with it. We wanted to expose it externally but have been unable to connect. Are there additional ports that must be opened?

Hi,

I've just installed ProGet 4.4.1 and am having trouble setting package tags in an npm feed. I'd like to be able to have prerelease builds on a beta channel and master builds on latest, but npm publish --tag=beta updates latest, and npm tag and npm dist-tag both fail with server errors. I'm using npm 3.10.9 on windows.

Does ProGet support npm package tagging?

Hi,
I would like to get all private NuGet packages hosted in our ProGet server with information about package dependencies as it is shown on NuGet package detail info page on ProGet web site.

I have found API method NuGetPackages_GetPackages which returns packages but there is no direct information about dependencies. I think that it is included in NuspecFile_Bytes. But how do I read those bytes in C# code to get dependencies (if it is there).

Thanks,
beda

We have been moving several of our infrastructure apps into Azure and would like to use our standard Active Directory credentials to authenticate. We have our AD being synchronized with an Azure Active Directory instance, but we can't enable domain services so we don't have LDAP available.

Is there a plan to allow authentication support for Azure Active Directory (e.g., federated authentication / OpenID Connect) in the future?

When I create a new Schedule Trigger it will execute immediately if the time has already passed for the day. For example, if at 5pm on Monday I create a Schedule Trigger for Daily at 7am, it will trigger shortly after I set it up (i.e. Monday around 5:01pm). Is there way to prevent this behavior? The way it works now it means I have to set up new Schedule Triggers before the execution time (i.e. before 7am in the example above) which is decidedly inconvenient.

I understand that the service reviews scheduled triggers on a periodic basis, so the triggers won't always execute at the exact time set in the schedule - this is fine if it means that a job will run at 7:01am or 7:02am instead of exactly at 7:00am, but it would be helpful if there was a threshold after which the missed jobs would not trigger until the time arrives on the next day. Even better if this threshold was configurable.

Hello,

I am having difficulties to setup Proget service on port 443.
It was running fine with IIS on port 80 up until today when we tried to set it up over 443.
We had a certificate created and ready today so we thought we would try HTTPS with proget.

Since trying to configure this in IIS, we can no longer load our Proget page. Even after reverting the changes and trying to run it on previous port 80 configuration, we have no success.

Here is the error we are receiving now trying to run it on http 80

Hello,

One of our dev is trying to install our NPM to Proget instance and having some difficulties to do so.
He is following the steps here : http://inedo.com/support/tutorials/proget/getting-started-with-private-npm-registries .

We are using LDAP with integrated auth. We have found some older Q & A's here mentionning that Proget and NPM will not function with integrated auth.
However we tested without this enabled, and are having same issue. Here is the full error page we are getting:

=============================================================

-- snipped JSON with potentially proprietary information--

======================================

I have tried setting up a new Task Titled NPM, providing permission to everything but administration of proget console, and it fails as well.

Hope we can find a solution together!

Hi,

I am trying to run the Proget Download step on a Jenkins Windows slave. But while the console log indicates everything has worked fine, no package is downloaded and/or extracted on the slave. The target path and the workspace remain empty.

I see the following three lines in the console log for the job (actual values redacted):

[ProGet] Download package to <targetpath>
[ProGet] Sending GET to <packageurl>
[ProGet] Unpack <packagefile>

When running the same job on the Jenkins master, it works as expected.

If I run the upack command on the slave, it works fine. I have also tried running the upack command as a buildstep in Jenkins, and that works fine, too.

Please indicate if the plugin's Download Package step is designed to run on Jenkins Slaves, and what needs to be done to make it work.

I would like to setup my npm feed to look for alternate sources using github repositories.

I have a npm dependency as below:
"gulp-hub": "frankwallis/gulp-hub#d461b9c700df9010d0a8694e4af1fb96d9f38bf4"

How can i setup a feed to pull the above package from " https://github.com/frankwallis/gulp-hub.git"?

Our build server experienced a power-cut whilst it was deploying.

When BuildMaster came back online it was continuing with the build, but it was clear the execution had stalled. We cancelled the build but it has now been cancelling for well over an hour.

This means that subsequent builds are shown as pending and we're stuck.

What can be done? Thanks

Hi,
I recently upgraded to Proget 4.4.1.
Earlier I could see the prerelease(beta) packages also on the webpage on ticking a checkbox. That seems to have gone now.
How do I enable the option to see the prerelease packages too?

Hi, we recently upgraded from 3.x to 4.4.1 to evaluate for a full license. We have noticed that the 'prerelease' checkbox has been removed from package searches. If the package doesn't have a release package yet, we cant find that package via search now.

If it does have a release, we can find it from the show all versions tab on the search results but we dont see that on a first time RC package

Cheers,
pete

Is it possible to have both a NPM feed and a Nuget feed enabled on the same server. We are using LDAP Integrated authentication for Nuget and that seems to be blocking our ability to publish to NPM.
