We (Inedo) are a software product company that makes several popular automation tools that help organizations implement DevOps practices. Although we're a small company, our products power the software delivery of some of the largest enterprises in the world, as well as countless other retail, government, medical, and financial institutions.

With the DevOps market exploding in the past couple years, we've seen a lot of growth as well, and are looking for a strong team player in our Berea, Ohio offices to join our Solution Consulting & Architecture team.


The Solutions Consultant/Architect will be responsible for:

  • Sales Engineering — work alongside a sales executive to demonstrate Inedo products using remote presentation software (or, rarely, in person) to prospects and customers so they can better understand how the software might facilitate their use-case
  • Customer Success — work directly with users of our software (primarily remotely) to develop a plan for a successful implementation of Inedo products, and work with them on a regular basis to drive this success
  • Technical Content Creation — work independently to develop use cases that showcase Inedo products, including documentation, blogs, tutorials, webinars, and videos



  • Prior 1-on-1 enterprise customer interaction
  • 2+ years software development experience (C++, .NET, Java, etc.)
    • Read and understand source code at a high level
    • Ability to decipher a stack trace
    • Ability to understand API integration points
  • 5+ years DevOps and/or automation experience:
    • Continuous integration (Jenkins, TeamCity, etc.)
    • Deployment automation (Jenkins, Octopus, BuildMaster, etc.)


  • Knowledge of package management solutions (NuGet, maven, rpm, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Inedo tools
  • Experience with infrastructure automation (Puppet, Chef, Ansible)
  • Video editing (Camtasia, etc.)


  • Be able to manage multiple projects utilizing strong planning and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation), with the ability to demonstrate and explain technical subjects to both technical and non-technical end user personnel in large enterprises on-site or remotely
  • Work directly with customers to develop a success plan
  • Technical mindset with an aptitude for problem solving
  • High level of motivation, self-starter, excellent at follow-up, team-player with ability to deliver within defined timelines
  • Create technical content in a variety of forms such as documentation, knowledge base, video scripts / recordings, blog articles, and tutorials
  • Draft technical specifications at an "input-output" level
  • Fluent in English
  • Travel nationally (or optionally internationally) up to 10%
