MyInedo: Self-Service Licensing and Renewal Guide

For your convenience, we offer full-service purchasing, renewals, and license key creation exclusively via MyInedo.

This article will serve as your guide to MyInedo and show you everything you need to know to ensure the smooth operation of our products without risking disruptions caused by expired licenses.

Create an Account at MyInedo

Go to and enter in your email address under Create Account / Retrieve Password.

Click continue and complete the registration from.

Once you have completed the form, you’ll be redirected to your MyInedo page from where you can access all your billing and account options.

Join an Existing Organization

Under the “Join an Existing Organization Heading”, click the “Join an Existing Organization Heading” button.

In order to join an existing organization, you need to enter a License Key associated with that organization. You will be able to get a license key from a registered member within your organization or from the email purchase/ renewal email from Inedo.

If the key matches a registered organization, you will be given the option to join the organization.

Your MyInedo page will now display all keys associated with your organization, as well as a list of invoices and outstanding quotes.

Purchase a License Key and Generate Quotes

On your MyInedo page, click the “Purchase License” button.

In the popup window, select the product you would like to purchase from the drop-down menu.

Depending on the product, you will then be able to select how many Users (BuildMaster), Instances (ProGet), or Servers (Otter) you would like to buy licenses for. Once you have made a selection, click the “Submit Payment” button to continue.

You will be asked to confirm the details before being asked to proceed with the payment. If the amount is correct, click the “Enter Payment Details” button to proceed to pay via Stripe.

If you need to cancel the payment at this point, you will be able to find the quotes for your outstanding order on your MyInedo Page.

By clicking on any of the invoice numbers on the left, you will be able to resume the payment procedure.

Renewing a License Key

A “Renewal” button will appear next to licenses a few weeks before they expire, ensuring that you will have enough notice to renew before facing potential issues. Clicking this button will once again bring you to the payment screen, allowing you to fill out all required information for payment.

If you run into any issues during the renewal processes, such as POs not being created on time, you will be able to get a temporary key to avoiding interruptions. ProGet Basic users can simply create a trial key from their MyInedo page, while ProGet Enterprise and BuildMaster customers need to contact our Licensing Specialist, Adam Thiel at

To request a temporary trial license, please click on the “Request Trial/Free License” button on your MyInedo page.

Pay Using Bank Transfer

If you wish to pay via Bank Transfer instead of the secure online payment processing by Stripe, you can contact our payment team directly via email. Follow the steps for purchasing a license outlined above until after you click the “Submit Payment” button. Instead of clicking “Enter Payment Details”, close the payment screen pop-up by clicking the small x

On your MyInedo page, you will find a list of all your outstanding quotes including the associated Quote number. Once you have identified the correct Quote Number; send an email to Inedo’s Licensing Specialist, Adam Thiel (, including the Quote Number, your company name, and address.

Once we have received your order, we will generate an invoice with all the relevant payment details, as well as a temporary license key valid for 30 days. The full keys will be issued once payment has been received in full.

Converting a Quote/Invoice to PDF

Open the invoice you would like to save as PDF and press ctrl+P (Windows/ Linux) / Apple key + P (Mac) to open the print dialogue. From the “Printer” dropdown menu, choose “Save as PDF”, “Print to PDF” or” Microsoft Print to PDF”. Note that the exact wording for these options can vary depending on your browser and system.

Purchase as a Reseller/Purchase with a PO

Follow the above steps to generate Quotes for each product you would like to include in your PO. Email the PO, as well as links to all relevant quotes directly to our Licensing Specialist, Adam Thiel ( You will receive an invoice and the license keys as soon as the order is processed.
