When attempting to install ProGet 4.0.9 on Windows Server 2012 R2 x64, our System Center Endpoint Protection stopped the installer with the Severe alert level detection of Trojan:Win32/Gatrid.E!cl in file %TEMP%\ProGetSetup\bmdbupdate.exe

Category: Trojan

Description: This program is dangerous and executes commands from an attacker.

Recommended action: Remove this software immediately.

How should I proceed?

Hi,

We discovered an issue with Proget's NPM package web page that becomes inaccessible when multiple version of a package is uploaded. As soon as 10 to 15 version of the same package is uploaded to the feed, it's package page (not the feed page) becomes inaccessible (The web browser load indefinitely). The npm feed itself is still perfectly working and package can be downloaded correctly.

I've been able to reproduce this on 2 different IIS installation with version 4.0.8 and 4.0.9.

Thanks,
Carl

When I click "Delete Feed" in Manage Feeds, I get the error.

System.Web.HttpUnhandledException: Exception of type 'System.Web.HttpUnhandledException' was thrown. ---> Npgsql.NpgsqlException:
update or delete on table "Feeds" violates foreign key constraint "FK__EventOccurrences__Feeds" on table "EventOccurrences"

Is there a newer Linux build than 4.0.2 that addresses this? Or a way to switch the DB library from SQL server to Postgres on the newer manual releases?

Thanks.

We set up our version of proget with the SQL express version. I'd now like to move it to SQL Server. How does one do this? I looked through the documentation and could not find the instructions.

I'm currently using Version 4.0.8 (Build 1) of Proget.

When adding more than 14 filters in the feed connector it is throwing "Error with an connector",The remote server returned an error:(400) Bad Request.

The same issue was already there in the 3.7.6 build of Proget.

Hi,

we are trying to configure buildmaster to use a private git account for source code access, We installed the GIT extension and able to add the repository URL but there is no option to configure the GIT username and password to checkout the code base from the private repository. do you have any suggestions/ options where to configure the private GIT repositories credentials.

Hope you guys have any hints, thanks a lot in advance! and please share if you have any documentation.

PS: I do see the credentials option for GitHub extension but not for GIT extension. I'm expecting similar to this.

I just installed ProGet and everything works fine. But the caching of packages from npmjs.org seems to work a bit strange.

Our dependency tree contains hundreds of packages but ProGet has only cached 33 of them (in C:\ProgramData\ProGet\Packages.npm). I see no logic in which packages are cached and which aren't.

But if I run npm install I get all the packages from ProGet. But it would be nice if we had all dependencies cached in case of a problem with npmjs.org.
