Change Storage.PackagesRootPath

Is there a procedure that I should follow to change the location where feed packages are stored. I have tried to copy the folders and change the Storage.PackagesRootPath setting, but I can't find/download packages after making the change.

That's the default root directory. Each feed can be customized to have its own path (or use a different storage provider, like Amazon S3).
