Source Code Request

Although most of our code is not open source, we are fairly open about our source code.

We figure that, if you really wanted to know how our software works, you could do so with any one of the .NET decompilers (Reflector, dotPeek, JustDecompile, and so on). Sure, we could use an obfuscator (or just obfuscate by design), but you could still figure it out. We could obfuscate more, then you could de-obfuscate more, and in the end, you'll just win. After all, we use C# and T-SQL to build our software, not magic.

So instead of engaging in this battle, we'll just focus on building great software. If you're curious, just use your favorite decompiler and dive right in. And while you're in there, if you have some specific ideas for something, please let us know!

However, if you find that your decompiler just isn't helping you with what you're looking for, we may provide you with certain portions of our codebase. You can use the form below to make this request, and please be as detailed as possible; writing "plz email me teh codez" will certainly make us smile, but we won't be sending back our codez.

Note: If you have already purchased a source code license for any of our products, you may visit MyInedo to download a copy.

Source code now included for: The Otter Source code is available for download on the MyInedo portal to all perpetual licensees with active support, and as of BuildMaster v4.9, the BuildMaster Source code is available for download on the MyInedo portal to all perpetual licensees with active support as well.
