ProGet as a Service
Our products are designed to be self-managed, which means our users are responsible for installing, upgrading, and maintaining the software. Although we make it as easy as possible to do that, many organizations prefer a hosted or SaaS-based model. This is where ProGet as a Service comes in.
ProGet as a Service: A Managed Service
ProGet as a Service is considered a managed service. It has all the benefits of a traditional SaaS, but its tailored around your organization’s needs. We’ve created a few standard packages that are a fit for many companies, but we’re happy to customize any of these plans to work with you.
The service cost will be comprised of three different fees: Licensing, Management, and Hosting (optional). More details on these different fees can be found below.

For the ProGet Load-balanced as a Service and ProGet High-availability as a service each installation will have its unique requirements and our licensing, and onboarding process after purchase will involve connecting our mutual network engineering teams to create ideal installation within budget.
Licensing Fees: Same Pricing
The licensing fees are published on ProGet’s pricing and include a license key for the software itself and access to our support engineers. The price is the same whether you’re self-hosting or using Inedo as a Service.
Additional, third-party licensing fees may be required for certain large installations, in particular Microsoft SQL Server.
Management Fees: Starting at $995/yr
We carefully look after each and every customer installation as if it were our own. While we use some automation for this, this is inherently a human-driven process.
The standard fee ($995/yr) includes:
• Installation on a single server
• Routine upgrades following our [recommended schedule]
• Monitoring for performance, backup, and uptime
• Intervention in case of software or hardware failure
The fee will increase as you add more servers (e.g. load balancing) or services (e.g. outage drills). Whatever the case, you’ll have a dedicated Solutions Architect contact to keep your appraised of your installation.
[Optional] Hosting Fees: Starting at $1,495/yr
We can manage your installation on the infrastructure of your choice, from your own data center to AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc. Just provide us with login instructions, and we’ll take it from there.
We can also resell you hosting from Hivelocity. We’ve been using them for over 15 years and they’ve impressed us every step of the way. You’ll have full access to this hosting (as if it were your own), but we’ll take care of everything (including the billing).
The standard fee ($1,495/yr) includes a powerful, “bare metal” server (i.e. not shared in anyway with anyone else) with 20TB bandwidth and 400GB (or more storage).
